How's Your Heartbeat?

The headliner says it all... How's your heartbeat?
I care "how you're doing" and know that you care how I am...so I will be blogging often on the pace of my ticker.

At present, my heartbeat is extremely all over the board...it is slow due to a numbness from moving so often, making and leaving new friends and recovering from extreme life traumas.

It is also racing rapidly as I stare at the latest news releases and emails regarding the impending election and contemplate how our country is facing an extreme attack on our Foundational Liberties and Civic structures. (pretty much I'm freaking out in prayer constantly over the elections). Have mercy on us all Lord.

We've moved to Prescott

To update any of you who are wondering "where in the world have the Petkovich's gone?"....we have moved to Prescott AZ. We sent a few bulleted emails...a few random moving announcements, but as most of you know that is sometimes how we work in a pinch "random".

We moved practically in the middle of the night (JK)...with the help of some movers (I was praying over us constantly b/c they were mormon..you all know how paranoid of Mormons I am...if you don't count yourself blessed. We had
quite a fun time though and had a last minute surge of help from Juli Witt and Cathy Seros (forever which I will be grateful) Thank you sooo much ladies.

WOW! We are in great awe over the move here. The setting is beautiful especially now that fall has hit. There are very distinct areas of Prescott some of which include...A Town Square with historical buildings offering the latest in gourmet faire...Two lakes surrounded by huge boulders...Mountains for climbing and...Lynx Lake for fishing....Family within 2 hr drive...Friends that we've bonded with just down the road...
It is at this point I would like to give a big praise to Jesus and His Father and Holy Spirit for this wonderful move.

Within the first week the Lord gave me a scripture as I lazily scrounged through His Word for a quick morning hug from Him. It was a verse encompassing many promises which I was hesitant to take for myself, but found myself smitten by the last part...it read...
"And I will plant them in the land with my whole heart"....
I have since forgotten the passage and all of the previous promises but that phrase has reassured me since the move that this is where we will land. I say this to share my heart of happiness at the thought of "landing"...as so many of you know, I have grown weary of moving...
The Picture is of John and the kids the first night eating out on our deck on our first ever patio furniture (assembled that day)!!! Go Petkovich's!!!!
